  • Saved US Marine Repair stations hundreds of thousands of dollars in return repairs, damaged equipment and combat failures by identifying non-compatible parts in inventory

  •  Identified how U-Haul could avoid millions of dollars in preventable liability claims by means of a maintenance identification and repair program

  • Saved downtime and repair costs for a major bus transit system by identifying and solving a transmission failure problem

  • Identified and solved wheel stud failures for a bus transit system in central Florida

  • Eliminated costly corrosion problems at a central Florida  water park through effective maintenance

  • Developed tightening procedures to drastically reduce downtime on ski area Snow-Cat treads

  • Designed heat-resistant locking nuts for use with stainless steel bolts on locomotive engine exhausts

TRAINING

  • Taught state inspectors in S. Carolina to identify potential problems for elevators and amusement carnivals

  • Conducted safety training for Amusement Industry Manufacturers and Suppliers maintenance mechanics and inspectors annually since 1987

  • Conducted safety training for Rocky Mountain Lift Association maintenance mechanics and inspectors since 1993 (attendees include aerial lift operators from ski areas and amusement parks throughout N. America)

  • Solved bolt wear and failure problems and conducted many training programs for plant engineering at Cargill in Tampa, Florida

  • Designed heat resisting locking nuts for use with stainless steel bolts on locomotive engine exhausts

  • Taught classes at Ferris State University in Heavy Equipment Department
